  Create a role using PFCG

Create a role using PFCG

  1. Run  PFCG from command line.

  2. Type in the role name you want to create.

  3. Click  create_role_3 to create a new role
  4. Fill in the Description and Long Text.

5. Go to the Menu tab to add t-codes.

Click create_role_7 to add transactions.

6. To generate authorization Click
 create_role_10 and create_role_11 to change the authorization. It might ask you for Org element value. Put the values and save it

7. Now fixing all the blank authorizations. All yellow light means the authorization is missing. Since this is a test role I will give all the authorization. I will click on the grey circle at the end of this create_role_13

It will ask me if  I wish  to give full authorization. I will hit the check and confirm this.

Now the BC_A Object class will look like

and the whole role will look like this.

8. Save create_role_18 the role. It will ask you for the profile name. I try to make it simple and leave the auto generated profile name. You can have naming convention for this also.

9. Generatecreate_role_20 the authorizations.

10. Now your role is ready.  You can assign this role to users from user tab create_role_21   and then don’t forget to do a user compare create_role_22
