Video Tutorials

Create User in Portal - This video will login as super admin (portal2). Note that when user logs in, it has 3 tabs - Content Administration, User Administration and System Administration. This is because the users has been granted 3 roles.

First we will login as portal2. Create user sapecc1 and assign role useradmin.

Then login as sapecc1, and you will see the the users only has User Administration tab. This is the only role assigned to the test user we created.

Creating iView - Let start with creating an iView in SAP EP. This video will help you to create an url ivew. I created an iView for http://www.sapecc.com. Changed the height to full screen.

Creating page - This video will guide us creating a page and linking the iView we created to this page. I made this page very simple with one column, and with one iview.

Creating role- This video will help us create role in SAP Portal and link the page created above to his role. Who ever is assigned this role will get access to the page we created with iView.
Make sure when creating role the entry point is changed to yes or else you won't see the tab when you sign on.

Assigning role - This video will shows us how to assign the above created role to an user. Then we will sign on as this users and validate if we can see the role.
In this video we will sign on as a test user and see if all the above work. We do see a tab which has the role we created above, which in-fact has the page and which in-fact has the iview.
